We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer (m/w/d) with strong expertise in Liquid and solid backend knowledge in PHP to join our team in Munich. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional e-commerce experiences on Shopify.

These are your tasks with us:

Develop and enhance Shopify themes using Liquid
Build responsive front ends with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
Contribute to backend development in PHP (API integrations, payments, inventory management)
Optimize performance, SEO, and user experience
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers
Maintain clean, scalable code using Git and CI/CD workflows

Advanced Shopify Stack (prioritized)

Shopify Plus: Experience with enterprise-level features (Scripts, wholesale workflows)
Shopify CLI / Theme Kit / Slate: For streamlined local theme development
Custom Shopify Apps: Developing private or public apps to extend Shopify functionality
Headless Tech: Familiarity with Hydrogen and Oxygen for custom storefronts
Shopify Functions & Extensions: Building checkout and customer account customizations

Your Profile:

You have 3+ years of professional experience in Shopify development
You have a proven expertise in Liquid and Shopify theme customization
You have strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
You have a solid backend development experience with PHP (Node.js is a plus)
You have experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs
You have a proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines
You are independent, structured working style and strong team collaboration skills
You are fluent in English

Zur Verstärkung unseres Teams in München suchen wir einen erfahrenen Shopify-Entwickler (m/w/d) mit fundierten Kenntnissen in Liquid und soliden Backend-Kenntnissen in PHP. Du wirst eine Schlüsselrolle bei der Bereitstellung von außergewöhnlichen E-Commerce-Erlebnissen auf Shopify spielen.

Das sind deine Aufgaben bei uns:

Entwicklung und Erweiterung von Shopify-Themes mithilfe von Liquid, unter Berücksichtigung von Best Practices und Performance.
Umsetzung von responsiven Frontends mit HTML5, CSS3 und JavaScript für ein konsistentes und benutzerfreundliches Einkaufserlebnis.
Mitarbeit an der Backend-Entwicklung mit PHP, insbesondere im Bereich von API-Integrationen, Zahlungsprozessen und Bestandsverwaltung.
Optimierung von Performance, SEO und User Experience zur Verbesserung der Konversionsrate und Ladezeiten.
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Designern, Produktmanagern und Entwicklerkollegen, um Anforderungen zu verstehen und effektiv umzusetzen.
Pflege von skalierbarem, sauberem Code unter Verwendung von Git und modernen CI/CD-Workflows.

Erweiterte Kenntnisse im Shopify-Umfeld (Priorität):
Shopify Plus: Erfahrung mit Enterprise-Features, wie Scripts und B2B-/Wholesale-Workflows.
Shopify CLI, Theme Kit oder Slate: Sicherer Umgang mit lokalen Entwicklungs-Setups und Toolchains.
Entwicklung von Custom Shopify Apps (privat oder öffentlich), um Funktionalitäten der Plattform gezielt zu erweitern.
Headless Shopify-Technologien: Erfahrung mit Hydrogen und Oxygen für die Erstellung individueller Storefronts.
Nutzung von Shopify Functions & Extensions zur Anpassung von Checkout-Prozessen und Kundenkonten.

Dein Profil:

Du hast mind. drei Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Shopify-Entwicklung, mit fundierter Praxis in der Umsetzung komplexer E-Commerce-Projekte.
Du kannst Expertise in Liquid nachweisen und Anpassung von Shopify-Themes, einschließlich responsiver Frontend-Gestaltung, vornehmen.
Du hast starke Kenntnisse in HTML, CSS und JavaScript, mit Fokus auf sauberen, wartbaren und performanten Code.
Du hast solide Backend-Erfahrung mit PHP; Node.js als zusätzliche Stärke ist vorhanden.
Du bist vertraut im Umgang mit REST- und GraphQL-APIs, z. B. für die Integration von Drittanbieterdiensten oder individuelle Erweiterungen.
Du bist sicher im Einsatz von Git und in der Arbeit mit CI/CD-Pipelines für automatisierte Deployments und effiziente Entwicklungsprozesse.
Du hast eine strukturierte, selbstständige Arbeitsweise, gepaart mit ausgeprägtem Teamgeist und kollaborativem Mindset.
Dein Englisch ist verhandlungssicher, Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.
