We are seeking a skilled and motivated Frontend Developer to join our team to develop our refurbishment software, which is heavily used by our bicycle mechanics, to the next level. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining this user-facing web application. You will work closely with our product managers, and backend engineers to translate concepts into high-quality, responsive, and intuitive interfaces. • Develop new user-facing features and interfaces using React.js

• Build reusable, testable components and front-end libraries for future use.

• Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into high-quality, functional code.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.

• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate with server-side logic and RESTful APIs.

• Work with Node.js for tasks such as build processes, server-side rendering, or API integrations.

• Participate in code reviews to maintain a high standard of code quality and share knowledge with the team.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and best practices.

• Independent and structured work style with a strong team spirit

• Proven professional experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role

• Strong proficiency in  Typescript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

• In-depth knowledge of React.js and its core principles (e.g., Components, Hooks, State Management)

• Experience with popular React.js workflows, such as Redux or Context API

• Familiarity with Node.js and its ecosystem (e.g., npm/yarn, Express)

• Experience with common frontend development tools like Webpack, Babel, and Git

• Solid understanding of asynchronous request handling and working with RESTful APIs

• The ability and willingness to travel and work on-site at our Kempten office 1-2 times per week

Nice to Haves:

• Familiarity with modern testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library.

• Knowledge of modern CSS frameworks or methodologies (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Styled Components).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• A portfolio of past projects or a link to your GitHub profile.
